Happy week to all of you, I want you to know how blessed I am to have a son on a mission! Heavenly Father loves and looks after his special disciples, who go forward and share his gospel. Last week Dylan issued a challenge to me to invite others to come to church with us. Not just others, but to pray for a family, and invite them. I know this is not something ground breaking or earth shattering, but I feel compelled to follow his request, and I pray to find the person Heavenly Father wants me to find, I pray he will help you find someone to invite too!

Love,

Jenn

Hello everyone,

There have been some interesting changes in the office in the last week. We are now in a dritt. In other words I got another companion for the next two weeks. It is very interesting.

One of the office couples will be leaving and going to Kiel. Everything is going to be organized differently when it comes to duties in the office.

This week, we really only had one lesson. We have a family that is making progress. They speak Bulgarian so it is sometimes hard to teach and they sometimes find it hard trying to understand. We ended up just teaching the mother this week. The other members of the family were not very didn't want to be part of the lesson. We had a great lesson with her and she came to church with us the next day.

We found a new investigator that has traveled from China to study in Berlin. We gave him to the Chinese Program to teach. They say that he is really interested, but pretty busy.

I love being on a mission. I love teaching the gospel. The Lord prepares people... even in Germany. I have really grown to have the testimony that all the skills that I have and the way that I work is nothing compared to what the Lord will do. He is the one who works miracles, through whom the the amazing things happen. He loves us and would love to have all of us return to him. His plans are great. From the beginning he has intended for us to live eternally. We must only choose to do so. Through Christ it is possible. It is He who has taken upon himself every sin and vice that has ever come upon us all. He will make us new.

Alles Beste,

Elder Draper

Elder Jorgensen:

Hey guys!

It's been an absolutely great week. Feels like a long time since last Monday though. Great to talk to you all again. And thanks for all the emails I loved reading them. My birthday just happened to be awesome because of a number of coincidences, well first of all I have to mention the package from home was probably the most appreciated birthday present of all time! Also, me and Elder Helco performed a musical number "Savior, Redeemer of my Soul," which I wish you could have all been there for because it's the coolest piece and we did super well. The spirit was super strong, plus I got distracted and completely lost my place halfway through but somehow my hands knew what they were doing and kept on going haha. And I actually got some time to relax later that day for what feels like the first time since I got here!

Great progress in the missionary work this week. We have been blessed to find basically 4 new investigators in the last little bit due to referrals, hard work and a lot of "finding" efforts! Also in the next week we plan to invite 3 people to be baptized and we will be ecstatic if even one of them sets a date! Although of course we're optimistic that all of them will haha. We're honestly beginning down the path of changing the reputation of this area - a goal that we've had since day one. In a place traditionally closed off and set in their ways we have seen some great progress.

Thanks for everything guys! It is beautiful here as always although it's getting colder daily! Walking out to a layer of frost on our windows this morning was not a welcome sight to say the least. I appreciate all your encouragement and I'll talk to you soon!

With love,
Elder Jorgensen
